Entry for a mythological contest held on Gaia. Yeah I know it has been almost a month since the last time I submitted something. I'm sorry~ I'm such a lazy gal. T-T

Goddess of silkworm from Chinese mythology. She's supposed to be wearing the skin of a white horse. There's a story that goes with her but I'm too lazy to find it.

Painted with watercolour. I kinda cheated with the colligraph but it was written by me nevertheless^^; Tweaked and adjusted with photoshop. Colligraph was written on another piece of paper then pasted on the painting (and no that's not what I mean when I said I "cheated.") Oh and I added a layer of pencil crayons.

In case anyone's wondering, the colligraph read "silkworm" and "god"( there's no single Chinese character for goddess.)

WOW. There is like no chance that you won't win... This is amazing. I see the strands in the light. I love the pose. She's so contemplative. Her eyes and hair are beautiful I just love the lights, I do.
